What is EA looking for?
We are looking for a creative and talented individual to join our tEAm to define and develop applications and infrastructure for our games. This individual should:
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- be able to deliver on tasks without considerable direction
- have exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills, be a solutions-oriented individual
- remain focused, motivated and effective on all tasks through completion
- operate and deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to meet high quality standards
- demonstrate a desire to lead and grow professionally

What will my key responsibilities be?
- Direct designers, and work closely with producers and various team leaders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft entertaining game-play experiences
- Manage a small group of designers and developers towards a specific design vision

What technical skills and experience do I need?

- Passion for designing games
- Able to craft full and fun encounters based on established game mechanics
- Able to design within technical limitations and other constraints
- Experience setting up in game action and scripted content
- 5+ years of experience as a video game designer, with a strong understanding of design tools, map editors and design techniques.
- Accredited with the design of 4/5+ shipped titles
- Maya, Photoshop, MS Word, etc.
- Self-managing; able to run with the responsibilities and drive them to timely completion
- Effective at collaborating with other team members, designers, engineers and artists
- Highly creative problem solver
- Excellent organizational skills (goal setting, working towards milestones)
