Krome Studios is a vibrant company of talented professionals working together across three studios – Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Founded in 1999, we are an award winning developer who is looking for like minded, forward thinking and experienced professionals to join us.

For this role we are seeking multi-faceted engineers to lead the way at the studio in the social/casual games space, who loves working on great IP, building high quality multiplayer experiences, and are excited to share their talent with others at Krome and with the world.

Requirements:

Minimum Required Skills
CSS, C++, ActionScript3 /Flash/Flex Builder, Rapid Development/ Agile

Experience and Qualifications
4+ years relevant software development experience
Facebook and/or MySpace platform experience
Experience with both Flash CS4 and Flash/FlexBuilder
Portfolio of Flash-based games
Experience with cross-browser compatibility
Must be familiar with web site load optimization techniques
Strong organization and communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-starting multitasker with a passion for software development
Positive and motivational teammate

Extra Skill – non-essential
Game design and game development experience a plus
Art skills a plus! (pencil and paper, photoshop/illustrator, Maya/Max)
Experience creating products for 7-14 year olds
B.S. in Computer Science, or college degree
Perforce or other source control tools
Java, Silverlight, HTML5 experience

Responsibilities:
Build and release new features daily
Create user interfaces and gameplay elements along with libraries for game clients
Collaborate closely with other team members
