Just a warning about this place - It appears as though they're displaying artwork in their gallery that wasn't made by artists in their employment. ie. stolen artwork

after contacting Robin(tes3d), who's work is being used in gamegrafx's gallery, it was obvious he had no knowledge of this company using his work to sell their services.

Anyone have more info? I'll let the artists involved take the appropriate action

It's kind of funny.. using images out of Cgtalk's CG Choice gallery..which is mainly all prerendered images to promote a games outsourcing company.

Halfbrick also owns the domain is that's any interest to anyone. You think they'd know better than to use other people's artwork without permission and aimed at the right industry.

    Hi,

Let me clear up the confusion.

Robin gave his authority in an email to me personally to use the image when the outsource operation was being set up under the HB umbrella.

Gamegrafx recently went pulic and prior to that worked under the HB umbrella.

So Robin had been dealing with me through HB and NOT GG which is where the confusion arose.

He hadn't seen the Gamegrafx website until recently and didn't know that we had launched the GG brand officially (which I should have updated him on but I had been travelling extensively in the UK for the last month or so).

This is why Robin had misunderstood that his work had been used by another company, Gamegrafx is the new entity for the outsource work being done!

I will contact Robin this weekend and sort this out and I will ask him to confirm what I have said above is a true and fair reflection of the situation.

I can see why people have jumped to their conclusions but bear with me and it'll all be cleared up very quickly!

Thanks for bringing it to my attention

    Tony

Nice to see that cleared up. You might want to make mention of that on the website just to be crystal clear.

Awesome! I apologize for my original comment, I didn't realize Gamegrafx was a part of Halfbrick, and that Robin had given permission to HB and not GG.

This is what developers lack. Clarity and openness. Nicely handled, Tony.
