Contract - Mid-Level 3D Artist for Tantalus

Tantalus Media are looking for a skilled artist to work on a 3 month contract at our Melbourne studio, starting asap and finishing up in July. We are looking for a mid level digital artist, with good 3D modelling/texturing skills. Ability and /or interest in low-poly distinctly advantageous.

Skills, Abilities and Qualifications
* Solid skills with industry standard modelling packages. Maya is essential.
* Strong texture painting abilities. Photoshop skills required.
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* A great eye for detail and quality
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a creative and collaborative team environment
* A genuine enthusiasm and passion for the games industry – prior experience of working in a creative team within the games industry is a distinct advantage.

Bonus Attributes
* Traditional art skills are appreciated
* 3DS Max skills may be useful
* Ability with Wii, DS or PSP (low poly) artwork
* Some basic animation skills are a plus, though not essential
