Firemint designs and develops award-winning, premium video game titles for handheld devices including mobile phones, Nintendo DS and emerging platforms. Our clients are some of the world's leading US and UK publishers and include EA, THQ, Namco, I-Play and Disney. We work with well-known licensed properties, as well as developing our own original IP. We are currently looking for a Producer to join our studio in inner-city Melbourne (Richmond).
Your responsibilities will include:
- running several game development projects concurrently
- dealing directly with our clients regarding schedules, answering queries and resolving issues, and facilitating client meetings
- relaying information between the client and the developer teams
- forecasting the sequence of required tasks to ensure smooth project delivery
- daily tracking of the development team's progress including SCRUMs (meetings)
- keeping project documentation up to date, including schedules, GDD, TDD, risk documentation, production management database (Hansoft) etc as needed
- identifying and resolving issues as required (eg tasks falling behind)
- working with a team in a constructive manner
Experience required:
- Prior experience in the Games Industry will be highly regarded, but is not essential. If you haven't worked in the industry, you will need at least 2 years experience running teams in an IT environment.
- Proven track record for completing projects to scope, within budget and on time
- Knowledge of Agile development processes is a plus
