3 Blokes Studios was founded in 2006 in Brisbane, Australia. Since then Duncan Curtis and Marko Grgic joined forces with John Passfield and together share a vision of creating fun social games that can be played by everyone, everywhere. There latest game, Hospital Town, has exploded onto Facebook and they are looking for people who are as excited about making games that your friends and family play everyday.

Title: Game Programmer / Designer - 3 positions available

3 Blokes Studios is looking for a Flash Games Programmer with experience in Game Design to work on a growing MMO game that runs on social networks. Qualified candidates will have experience in creating fun Flash games.

Responsibilities:
• Prototype game concepts in Flash
• Create or adapt leading game features to work with an existing game
• Tune and model complex systems using Excel
• Write copy, names, and narrative elements of game
• Analyze real-time feedback and metrics, and adjust game designs accordingly
• Work with team to oversee the implementation of new features and systems
• Remain up-to-date with latest social game design trends and best practices
• Will be required to write code in PHP, SQL, ActionScript 3

Required Skills:
• Game programming background required with strong Action Script 3.0 programming experience
• Experience or knowledge of major social games
• Knowledge of game balancing and pacing
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Adept with Excel/spreadsheets
• Passionate gamer
• Examples of existing Flash games
• Experience with PHP, SQL programming experience a bonus
• Passion for software development and OO Design
• Adept with Flash CS4
• Must be able to quickly learn and adapt to changes
• Must be good at problem solving

Location: Brisbane - office is currently moving closer to the city

Hours: 38 hrs a week

All I can say is that whether or not these are the sort of games you really want to be working on, these ARE the people with whom you want to be working.
