IT Support

We currently have a requirement for an experienced IT support professional to provide user support to a PlayStation Development Team.
Day-to-day duties include desktop support, asset tracking, maintaining equipment, organising and storing IT equipment, setting up PC's, installing and configuring machines for new starters, solving problems with Maya or the Development Team's Internal Tools. Licensing registration and documentation.

Temp to Perm position

Required Experience/Skills
- 2-3 years experience help desk and desktop support
- Some experience in linux
- Must be a fast learner
- Common sense and ability to work under own initiative
Desirable Experience
- Source Control managment (e.g. perforce, cvs, subversion)
- Knowledge of Maya and Photoshop
- Networking Experience (Patching, Configuring clients, VPN)
- Creating and deploying system images
- Shell scripting
- Bug tracking systems (JIRA specifically)
- Experience in a development environment

Animator

We are looking for a talented 3D Animator with experience in both key-framed and motion capture pipelines to join our Team to work on the upcoming next-generation console title L.A. Noire. The Animator will have experience in working on a console title and be familiar with working with the programming and design team to refine movement mechanics within the game.

Required Experience
- Proven ability in at least one game development production seen through to completion
- Thorough understanding of animation pipelines within games development
- A very good eye for detail and quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a creative and collaborative environment
- A passion for creating and playing video games
- Commitment to personal and peer development and sharing best practices

Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of both keyframe and mocap production pipelines
- Ability to animate realistic characters and bring performances to life
- Demonstrate a through knowledge of all the principles of animation
- A thorough understanding of weight and timing in realistic motion contexts
- Experience in cutscene work a bonus
- Extensive knowledge of both Maya and Motion Builder

QA Analyst

We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst, with a technical understanding within the IT industry. The successful candidate will have been involved in the QA process within video game development and preferably shipped a title. Attention to detail and methodical work practices are key, as is a passion for video games.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Player Control quality and response
- Feedback and testing of the Game Controls to make the game highly accessible
- Feedback and testing for animations and camera systems
- Feedback and testing of behaviour for the AI Team
- Feedback and testing of Art Assets
- Liaising with the Design, Code and Art Teams working on feature set specifications
- Feedback and testing of Internal Tools

Required Skills:
- Previous experience in testing software within game development
- Knowledge and understanding in creating and maintaining test plans
- Technical knowledge understanding of verbal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail

Senior Character Artist

We are currently looking for a talented Senior Character Artist who will work with the Lead Animator to produce high quality characters for the project. If you think you can take on the challenge, please contact: jobs@teambondi.com

Responsibilities:
- Working directly with Lead Animator to oversee the character production pipeline
- Offering guidance and mentoring for junior to mid level character artists
- Work with scanned data to produce realistic characters for next gen development
- Scheduling the team to ensure characters are delivered for milestones
- Provide regular feedback for the team from the Game Director
- Maintains vision and quality of the team

Required Experience:
- Proficient with edge loops and latest polygon construction methods
- High levels of technical competency in Maya, Photoshop and Zbrush
- Understands the technical limitations of character modelling within a development environment
- Experience of character pipelines and efficient memory management of UVs, textures,and vertices
- Experience of working with in house tools and console development process
- Understanding of character preparation from modelling, rigging and skinning for animation
- Experience with sub skeletons and set driven keys for quality deformation of characters
- Can produce high quality realistic character models within strict budgets and limitations

Required Qualification:
- Accomplished senior character modeller with experience of mentoring a team through at least one AAA title
- Excellent problem solver who can focus on detail, while maintaining the whole picture
- Ability to work with a range of disciplines including Art, Programming, Design and Production
