EA Melbourne was essentially a senior programmer from the UK I believe, wanted to come to Australia to live. They setup the infrastructure around him so he could continue to develop titles. Essentially EA melbourne work on most of the high profile game titles. About 5 or so employees now in melbourne?

I heard the same thing. The next 12 months should be very interesting indeed.

They grabed 5 fro IR Gurus this month apparently.

  • 10. Anonymous Thu, 3 Jan 2008 09:15:57 EST

They had a couple employees from IR Gurus for a while now. One went over to the UK for 12 months to work for EA over there, and decided to return.

The other being a senior graphics programmer who worked for IR Gurus and Torus before that.

I heard they nabbed another senior graphics programmer just before christmas.
