Lead Artist for The People's Republic of Animation

Lead Artist (5+ years industry experience)

The People's Republic of Animation has an opening for a full time Lead Artist to join the award winning team in their Adelaide studio. Overseeing the production design and art direction on various projects, you will play a key role in bringing exciting animated films, TVC's and video games to screen.

Essential Criteria:
- 5+ years production experience on animated TVC's, TV series or films or video games.
- 2+ years experience leading small teams
- Advanced Photoshop skills
- Advanced knowledge of 2D and 3D animation pipelines
- Extensive experience storyboarding for animation
- Ability to work closely with directors to create high quality artwork in a range of styles.
- Ability to clearly articulate visual direction and feedback.

Desirable Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in visual arts, animation or film
- Animation skills (2D or 3D)
- Understanding of graphic design and document layout
- Experience using Maya, After Effects and Illustrator.
