Multimedia Graphic Designer for The Creative Assembly

The Creative Assembly, a wholly owned subsidiary of SEGA, has an exciting opportunity for a contracted Graphic Designer at their Australian studio. The successful applicant will have the chance to work on The Creative Assembly’s ambitious new console/PC title and be part of a dynamic, world class team.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to contract for a period of two to three months starting immediately.

Responsibilities:

- Expansion and implementation of a pre-existing design into a front end games interface
- Expansion and implementation of existing in-game heads up display

It is essential that you are competent in:

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Flash
- Adobe Illustrator
- 3Ds Max experience is a plus but not mandatory

Skills required:

- Strong Graphic Design skills
- Experience with layout for multimedia interfaces
- Experience with menu layout and animation in Adobe Flash
- Basic knowledge of ActionScript 2.0 (as relates to animation and simple interfaces)
- Must be able to work in a team environment and interact with Programming department
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver products on time and to a high level of quality
- Game industry experience a plus
