3D Artist opening at Gameloft Auckland studio

Gameloft is currently seeking 3D Artists for its new studio, located in Auckland, New Zealand.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

- You will become an integral part of the graphic production team and work in close relationship with the designer and artistic director.
- Demonstrate creativity, adaptability to different game and graphic styles (pixel, cartoon, realistic, illustration, etc.);
- Modelling characters and 3D backgrounds and creating textures (adapted for low res).

Skills

- Excellent understanding of human anatomy and motion;
- Excellent knowledge of design basics (relief, lighting, composition, perspective, colours, etc.);
- Excellent knowledge of 3DS MAX (experience in Character Studio)
- Excellent knowledge of Photoshop;
- English: from business level to native

- Video game enthusiast
- Knowledgeable in contemporary media (web, games, comics, film, animation, etc.)
- Open-minded and outward-looking
- Auto-Critique;
- Organized and efficient;
- Good critical sense
- Ability to work unsupervised;
- Able to work under pressure.
