Oh crap I'm on TV!
I really dread watching this. All I can remember is having no idea what I was talking about.
Guess I'll have to watch it eventually. Hopefully it's not too embarrassing. Great to meet all the other peeps on the panel though!
Sound issues
If you have checked the video out, you might be relieved to find out that it was probably too hard to hear anyone anyway! It sure was noisy area for this session, and our cam couldn't pick up much of what was said very clearly. In fact, we seemed to have too much sound issues with most of the sessions we captured. Either speakers didn't use the microphone that was allocated to them, or the sound system for the session was just too low. Perhaps it's something for the Freeplay organisers to look into next year.
Absolutely. Out of all the
Absolutely. Out of all the feedback received, audio quality, especially in Experimedia, was one of the big things people pointed out. We've spoken to the Library about it and they've got some new microphones, and we'll also have a bit more time to test the setup between sessions, as well as better instructions for all speakers about how things are going to be set up.
