Eyst
Eyst is a developer and publisher of entertainment software and is known for their work on Wartorn and Dogday.
DOGDAY is set in a bleak, oppressive society run by a corrupt totalitarian regime under the rule of the all-powerful Chegga. The few fortunate enough to be part of Chegga's elite enjoy a life of privilege at the expense of the masses.

[edit] History
Dogday was award "Game of the Year" and "Australian Game of the Year". A great title by all measures and different to the general releases at the time. Of course some reviewers in subsequent years seem to have trouble understanding how tech changes and review in light of what is possible today, not what was possible back then.
Wartorn, even though a cutting edge title at the time, with features that are yet to be matched to this day, did not have a happy outcome.
Eyst was subsequently destroyed by a pathetic publisher... "Virgin Interactive". Man, they suck! Virgin Interactive decided it would be a good idea to lock the title up under contract and then never pay the developer any money. Some may call this type of action despicable theft, but it is certainly shameful and disgusting. It is unfortunately not uncommon for such practices to take place. Large publisher use their considerable power to sink the little guy.
Thankfully, this practice may have diminished over the years, which is of course of little comfort to the developer who has sunk life savings and then some into a title, only to be screwed over.
