Infinite Interactive was founded in January 2003 by Steve Fawkner, creator and lead designer of the critically acclaimed Warlords series of PC games. Steve worked as an independent developer in the 1980's, creating titles for many platforms from the Sinclair Spectrum to the Commodore Amiga. He then moved to SSG where he created, maintained and expanded the Warlords franchise on the PC.

Steve moved on to start an independent Infinite Interactive in Melbourne, 2003. Infinite has continued to produce Warlords games (Warlords IV: Heroes of Etheria and Warlords Battlecry III), but has recently branched out into the more casual marketplace.

They have released Puzzle Quest for the PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and almost every other platform, and are developing Galactrix, another match-3-based puzzle game in the Puzzle Quest series, this time with a science fiction setting.
