We are building a Worldclass Games Studio in Sydney, that will be part of Bally’s Global Games Development team and you could play an instrumental role, in shaping the culture and success of this team.

SUMMARY:

Your role will be to create and design composite graphical assets for Bally’s video slot machine games.

THE POSITION:

Reporting to the Games Producer and working in a small cohesive team with Graphic Artists and Software Engineers, your role will be to create the animations and production effects to enhance game play for Bally’s Video Slot Machines.

Some of the tasks you will be doing are as follows :

  • Understand graphic file formats, both static and animated
  • Build and process game art into usable files for engineers
  • Work closely with engineers and other animators to solve graphic technical issues
  • Collect and disseminate information regarding graphic and game play capabilities for use by engineers and other media technicians
  • Recommend upgrades and new game play ideas for future software

THE SKILLS

Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in the creative arts and have at least 5 years professional experience in Animation.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • A good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & After Effects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to resolve technical graphic issues
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A keen desire to work in a highly creative department
