At digibox we use the latest technology in our production suite and if successful you will be working in 3ds Max 2012, with the Craft Animation Plug-ins as wells as play with advanced render farms, motion capture suits and associated technologies.

If animating airplanes, helicopters, cars, mine sites, construction sites, buildings and characters in 3D is your thing, then we definitely want to hear from you. We are looking for an energetic person who has the passion, creativity and personality to work with like-minded individuals.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills, self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities:

• Animating 3D scenarios using 3ds Max 2012.
• Accurately estimating completion dates and meeting deadlines.

Essential Skills:

• 3 years Industry Experience using 3ds Max and VRay.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, character and environment development for animation.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Friendly, positive attitude and able to follow through with commitments.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines and targets.
• Contribute within a team environment with the ability to work autonomously.
• Initiative and ability to learn and master design related software applications.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of motion capture technologies.
• 3D Modelling.
• 3D Lighting and Rendering techniques.
• Experience in using the Adobe Suite of Products, namely After Effects and Photoshop.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• An interest in online training and e-learning with a passion and desire to grow with the company.

In order to apply for this role you are required to supply a show-reel displaying your skills. It is essential that this identifies your strengths in 3D Animation using 3ds Max and profiles some of your compositing work.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on your skills, qualifications and industry experience ranging from $45,000 to $60,000 including Superannuation. The successful applicant will be based in our Brisbane office located in Albion with convenient access to public transport.
