Zero latency is an award-winning and global leading company in Free Roam VR, based in Melbourne.
We are looking to further bolster our content team with some more talented Mid to Senior Programmers and Artists.

Growing from 5 to 45 in less than 2 years, sites worldwide and featured in publications such as Forbes, Fast Company, Australian Finacial Review and many others, 2016 was a huge year, with 2017 only increasing the trajectory upwards.

About you: You are driven and passionate about your craft. You own your work, can self-manage time and task tracking and have a keen interest in Serious Games and Simulations, You enjoy the challenge of fast-paced environment and all that entails to be at the forefront of Free Roam VR.

Mid-Senior 3D Character / Prop Artist

Position Responsibilities
Create realistic high quality and performant Characters and Props for Realtime VR Projects.
Work with Leads to accurately identify and schedule tasks.
Show initiative and the ability to self-manage.

Attributes Required:
Shipped Titles, Minimum 3+ Years of Studio production experience
Good skills in Maya/Photoshop/Zbrush
Unity/Unreal or similar Realtime Engine experience
Knowledge of PBR workflow and tools
Proven ability to create realistic high-quality real-time characters and clothing/armor (eg: modeling, UV, texture)
Animation setup
Animation ready topology.
Ability to create quality animation rigs.
Proficient in Organic and Hard Surface Sculpting
Ability to self-manage and track tasks/assets
Source Control Experience
Works great in a team and solo.
Driven / Does personal work at home.

Extra Points:
Substance Designer/Painter experience
Clothing / Marvelous Designer experience
Node based shader creation experience
Lighting experience
Efficient use of UV space
Take existing assets (high/low/scanned) and bring to required level of quality
