Job Description :
The Associate Producer assists and works closely with the Executive Team across Design, Art, and Code on production components of an assigned game title or other project. In this capacity, the Associate Producer may work in partnership with internal and external developers and any third parties to assist the Executive Team in ensuring the timely, high quality delivery of the project or its components.
On a day-to-day basis, the Associate Producer will be responsible for assigned tasks related to game development, including taking responsibility for managing task flow to team members and tracking progress, coordinating QA and usability testing, preparing project related documentation, coordinating with external vendors creating project assets, evaluating project deliverables and providing feedback to the Producer, providing support to Marketing, PR, and other internal publishing functions, and other duties as specified by the Producer.
Key Skills + Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Executive Team to provide motivation, monitor performance, maintain creativity and build cohesive teams
Provide production support to Marketing, PR, and other internal publishing functions as needed
Track production deliverables and improve communications with employees by facilitating scrum methodology in the form of sprint planning, task tracking, stand ups and retrospectives
Track the delivery of assets by external vendors.
Facilitate communication with internal and external developers on key production aspects as determined by the Executive Team
Help to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans with the help of development staff, before they impact the team or production schedule
Coordinate with key personnel across the company to resolve problems or dependencies
Maintain or managing all relevant SKUs through the entire production process
Gather and preparing all assets required for localization processes
Prepare submissions for First Party Evaluation (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, etc.) at key milestones.
Maintain asset pipelines on the production side to ensure timely delivery of assets as required to promote and publish the finished product.
Coordinate QA and Usability Testing
Review and approve employee holiday and sick leave requests and field general employee questions and issues
Facilitate with the aid of HR, training and job growth initiatives for assigned personal as needed/necessary
Two years experience in a production related role.
Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to the position or equivalent experience
Experience practicing Scrum methodology
