Big Ant Studios is an Australian game development studio founded in 2001 by CEO Ross Symons, a software development pioneer with a professional history that stretches back to the 1970's when he first authored a number of internationally published books on programming and games for platforms including the TRS80 and Commodore PET/VIC20/64 series of personal computers.

Big Ant Studios, one of the largest game developers in Australia, develop premium character action and racing content for platforms that include the Sony PlayStation2, PlayStation3, Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox360, and PC. Supported by such leading global publishers as THQ, Konami, and Sierra Entertainment, Big Ant Studios have achieved significant market success. Every console title developed by Big Ant Studios has gone on to sell multiple hundred thousand units.

Big Ant Studios is a Melbourne based game development studio founded by CEO Ross Symons in 2001. Previously known as Bullant Studios until January 2006, a specialist in the simulation-racing genre, the studio changed its name to Big Ant Studios and has expanded its portfolio to include a wide variety of game genres on current and next-generation platforms.

Located in Melbourne's central business district, Big Ant is one of Australia's largest studios and currently employs over 60 permanent staff. Sustained growth since its inception has seen the studio move to a brand-new studio space on Collins Street, Melbourne.

Big Ant Studios have released titles on the Sony PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo Wii, Game Boy Advance, and PC. They are currently working on multiple signed projects for the Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
