Games Industry Veteran launches marketing agency for Independent Developers

Independent games developers have come to the realisation that, apart from trying to do as much as possible in their particular area of expertise on their games, they need to wear many additional hats in unfamiliar areas like business, marketing, and sales. It's a sad reality that most simply do not have the time or even the necessary skills needed for these crucial areas.

The first year we ran the fabulous 48 hour game making challenge we had four teams – our winning team that year was SIF90 – they came – they coded – they conquered. Much adored and beloved the SIF90 lads have since gone their own separate directions and we want to bring them back!

Congratulations to The Voxel Agents who've made the finalist cut for the IGF China awards for their appstore game, Train Conductor 2: USA. Train Conductor has come to the USA with historical steam trains barrelling across the wide open plains. With the swipe of a finger you guide trains through great American locations. Start in Miami Beach, travel across the historical Grand Canyon, swing through Las Vegas and Nashville on your way to modern New York.

Train Conductor 2 : USA is a game of quick decisions, superior strategy, and challenging hand-eye coordination. Route trains onto their correct track while avoiding head-on collisions.

Each of the five levels presents unique challenges and distinct high-score gameplay. Conduct steam trains, electric subway trains and monorails. Play the spooky night levels which are filled with runaway ghost trains and even demonic skulls trains.

As you progress through each level the gameplay evolves and becomes progressively harder. Trains of varying length, speed and frequency to challenge your conducting skills.

Each level in Train Conductor 2 is a high-score smashing challenge of survival which will raise your crash-avoidance and routing skills to an art form.
