[edit] Games Art and Design

If you plan to be a video game artist or designer, consider Murdoch's Games Art and Design bachelor's degree. Designed from the ground up by industry veterans (Pixar, Autodesk, NVidia, EA, Looking Glass Studios), this degree is aimed at the right mix of practical skills (drawing, painting, animation, 3D modeling) and theory (game design, art theory, video game art production best practices). Students learn industry standard software and production practices (3DS Max, Unity, UDK) to create innovative, original video games. Many of our top students have already been recruited before graduation and enjoyed internships at Blizzard. Murdoch GAD graduates have built game art for Disney, led art production at successful social gaming startups, as well as designing, building, and shipping their dream games. www.murdoch.edu.au/gamesart
