SEGA Studios Australia
From Tsumea
Founded in 1987 in the UK by Tim Ansell, CA has expanded its development capacity by opening a studio in Brisbane. Australia was identified as the ideal location because of the quality of the local talent and low cost base. Both studios have continued to rapidly expand on the back of the hugely successful Total War franchise.
George Fidler, previously the Chief Operating Officer of Electronic Arts Australia, heads the team in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Australia.

Australian studio established in 2002.
In 2005, Sega acquired The Creative Assembly, the creator of the critically acclaimed Total War series/ The Creative Assembly has studios in the United Kingdom and Australia. Mike Hayes, President and COO of Sega Europe Ltd described The Creative Assembly as a development team renowned for its quality and highly commercial products.
