Here at League of Geeks, creating high quality, engaging content is at the core of what we do. We are looking for a community content manager who has the experience and skillset to build thriving communities, and execute on our marketing and community strategy via digital content creation.

As a Community Content Manager specialising in content marketing and creation, you will be responsible for planning, managing, creating, implementing and iterating upon all of League of Geeks' online and offline marketing content. You will play a pivotal role in the marketing and community strategy for not just our studio, but all of our IP. So, if wrangling videogame communities while nerding out on TikTok trends, studying engagement stats, bending Adobe Creative Suite to your will, and smashing out content across multiple brands sounds like a dream job, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Experience producing digital content, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, facebook, twitter, tiktok etc).
  • Demonstrable experience building and engaging audiences either online or offline via digital content.
  • Intimate familiarity with content creation tools; Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Canva, etc.
  • Detail sensitivity, a proven aesthetic eye and strong graphic design sensibilities.
  • Ability to work independently; managing time, task lists and workflow with ease.
  • Excellent communication, creative collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for motivating, inspiring, mentoring and educating your fellow team members.

Responsibilities:

As a Community Content Manager here at League of Geeks, you will work to create a cohesive and industry-leading content suite for our digital presence. Your role will support the output of the Publishing Team and reports into the Publishing Producer.

  • Create and manage an end-to-end marketing content pipeline, inclusive of execution.
  • Research, plan, deploy, and continuously iterate upon LoG’s content marketing strategy.
  • Create a target amount of assets each month that drive subscribers, engagement, sales, awareness and interaction.
  • Be responsible for various video content including livestream production and social media content production.
  • Manage and develop a blogging strategy.
  • Support LoG’s publishing team with assets and expertise as required.
  • Grow our subscriber base and maximize our online engagement through the creation of timely, high quality assets that communicate our brand voice effectively (Memes. We are talking about memes).
  • Work with external designers, product marketing, sales, community and influencers, and other industry experts.
  • Work alongside LoG’s community manager/s and development teams in supporting and interacting with our community across various platforms.
