Expressions of Interest – Producer
(Contractor, part time)
This opportunity is for expressions of interest in a part-time role that would commence in January 2019 under a new entity. At this time, this position would only be open to applicants that can work on-site in Melbourne, Australia.
This role is suited to a producer with a passion for cross-cultural exchange, international communication and a fastidious love of spreadsheets. You’ll be someone with a couple of years of experience and a desire to gain a deeper understanding of free-to-play, social based game design, monetisation and data analytics. This role reports to a senior producer who will be guiding and mentoring the producer along the way.

Lumi Interactive is a publisher and developer of games that focus on games for women, particularly games that focus on customisation, community and humour.
With a strong background in marketing, PR and player data analytics, our team partners with skilled developers to create amazing game experiences. Our team are headquartered in Melbourne, with development partners in Shanghai.
Our producer would be responsible for overall project management and communication across several game projects. The producer will be the keeper of the production schedule, supporting our team to prioritise and delegate tasks and risk manage bottlenecks.
While this opportunity would begin as a part-time contract (minimum 3 days per week) for 3 to 6 months, the contract may be extended or transitioned to employment.
Previous producer or project management experience in the games industry
Experience with Agile production methodologies
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Excellent time management and organisation skills

Additional language skills (Mandarin especially)
Experience with Slack, Asana and WeChat
