The $100 billion gaming industry is on the verge of revolution. For decades, gamers have suffered under the pretense of ownership: purchasing digital assets to which they hold but negligible rights. Now, with the advent of blockchain technology, comes the opportunity to empower gamers with true ownership. At Immutable, our mission is to lead this revolution and transform the space as social and mobile platforms did years ago.

With a small but exceptional team of artists, designers and engineers we are building Gods Unchained: a AAA trading card game where players have complete control over their assets. As we approach launch, we need the help of other talented professionals to help bring our game to the world.

That's where you come in...

We are seeking a Copywriter, who is able to communicate complex topics to the mainstream markets, you will work across our product development, ads, and content. Currently this activity falls onto individual team members across various departments and through our growth, we now require someone to take ownership of the language, the tone of our brand messaging and create the guidelines around our copywriting process while maintaining consistency across all our products, advertisements, and company posts.

Your early Key Result areas will include:
- Audit all of our blog posts, social posts, press releases, response databases, announcements, emails, identifying and fixing content that lacks clarity or is noticeably incorrect/outdated.
- Assess and understand the brand's current tone, refine and harden it with the help of VP, Marketing, and create clear documentation which guides the copywriting process moving forward.
- Speak with content manager, performance marketing manager, communication director, communications manager, customer success manager, game producer, XD team, mobile team, and platform team to understand their copywriting needs. Develop a formal process for these departments to request copy, all other teams are aware of and are using this process.
- Map out what we are communicating to users through copy at every stage of their onboarding journey, throughout the website, client, job hiring and social pages. Identify all areas where the copy lacks clarity or does not enhance or adhere to our defined brand. Propose a list of immediate priorities, and rework all the priorities requested by VP of Marketing.
- Rewrite all onboarding, activation, retention, and transactional emails to be used in automation.
- Provide performance marketing with 10 pieces of copy for new user acquisition.
- Provide performance marketing with 10 pieces of copy for ad retargeting.
- Finish full rework of all Gods Unchained/Immutable copy: systems developed for card descriptions, Gods Unchained and Immutable website, blog posts, meta descriptions, social profiles, briefs written for all teams on the voices of our various products and copy for all products releasing in the near term.
- No remote working: Whilst we want to support remote working in the medium-term, we are only hiring for onsite roles to promote collaboration and grow our culture.
