The latest big release of FMOD caters for next generation hardware and is called FMOD Ex. It supports 10 different platforms including win32/64, PSP, ps2, xbox, gamecube, mac, linux and wince!
After many months of development and testing, we are proud to announce our newest offering, FMOD Ex. This is a truly next generation audio engine with many advanced features and capabilities. FMOD Ex is a totally new API, with extensive cross platform support, expandability, flexibility, and future hardware in mind...FMOD Ex is a generation ahead of anything currently available. It has been written from the ground up using 10 years of experience from FMOD and user feedback (yes you!).
