Game Connect Asia Pacific 2010 (Gcap 2010) reveals full program

The Game Developers' Association of Australia today announced the availability of its full program for the 2010 Game Connect Asia Pacific Conference. Taking place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday 14 October and Friday 15 October, the GCAP 2010 program is built around the theme of 'The Player Experience', and is designed to take a multi-disciplined look at how each contribution - from code to marketing - influences the end experience for our audience.

Sessions include:
• Keynotes on business, creative strategy, and responding to shifting audience demands.
• Explorations of studio culture and quality.
• Discussion of what our industry can learn from other creative mediums, and what we can teach them.
• Opportunities in emerging platform spaces.
• Modelling and prototyping business and creative processes, and how that impacts the end result.

“GCAP 2010 is about taking an honest look at where the Australian industry is positioned in relation to the rest of the world,” said Antony Reed, CEO of the GDAA, 'as we look towards the future of content development, digital distribution, education and technology. The shifts in opportunities during the past five years have been enormous, and we expect the same over the next five. GCAP 2010 is about establishing a strong foundation for us to get the best results out of those shifts.”
