looks nice... pity nothing was revealed about how the game would play.

and was that pre-rendered or real-time?

Maybe, if they fix the kind of problems that plaged The Gataway.

looks a bit weak.. the whole movie is a bit pointless. Not much that looks revolutionary.. the graphics look fairly average and are probably pre-rendered. I don't like how the cars and environment feels so sterile and scripted.. it should feel more random and have more atmosphere to it.

the environment looks too clean, I would imagine that a game set so long ago would have more grit and grime to it,

I'd rather see trailers that show actual gameplay.

If the game isn't advanced to a stage where the gameplay looks good enough to be used then its just an advertisment for vapourware.

    Team Bondi website now says:

    Platform
    Next Generation Consoles

So 360 version pretty much confirmed.

Apparently team bondi have developed their own mo-cap tech, have their own studios which is supposed to eliminate the issues that people have with mocap.

That's because what they've shown so far are just cinematics

Being a Mafia and Mercenaries fan (so basically GTA games with context) I'm kinda maintaining a degree of hope for this one to turn out good. Not sure if I remember correctly but at GCap last year however I think they said they were hoping to recreate some absolutely massive area of LA. Now by the looks of things the tech they were using seemed alright but the idea of trying to spread gameplay over so big an area without repeating quests and character archetypes too much.... I hope it works, because if it does then wicked, it could be a very, very cool game, but if doesn't, then it would have the potential of going the complete opposite way, and the amount of time a Player would spend driving... and driving... and driving... seeing the saaaaame NPCs, doing the saaaame things, any of the game's positives, even exceptional ones, would be lost completely.
