Calling Australian games / interactive media professionals

Location

Applications are now open from Game Dev Teams in Vic, NSW & Qld interested in exploring opportunities for innovation development with 'non-games' industry sectors (some call the space we're in 'serious games', others, 'gamification', but whatever the term, it's a huge growth area which will increasingly impact our daily lives).

The Interactive Skills Integration Scheme (ISIS) is a Federal and State Gov supported program helping to bring together experts from the games design / interactive media industries with experts from non-games industry sectors to create innovative proof of concept / prototypes.

It's paid part-time work between September 2011 and March 2012 and will give participants an opportunity to extend the application of their skills into new areas.

The ISIS Expression of Interest doc is available for download from http://www.isisinteractive.net.au/ which will provide a clear overview of what ISIS is working to achieve. ISIS is currently taking applications from both 'Pilot Businesses' (the 'non-games' organisations) and 'Interactive Media Teams' (games/interactive media professionals). Applications close Friday September 2nd.

If you'd like to learn more about what's up for grabs and what it offers you, you are welcome to get in touch with ISIS Project Director, Justin Brow at jb@isisinteractive.net.au .
