ECD Systems' Indie Game Developer's Contest

(Suzanne Forest sent this in to Sumea, and if anyone is interested in having a go, please do follow the link for more information. It looks like a pretty cool activity to participate in.)

It's time for ECD Systems' INDIE GAME DEVELOPER'S CONTEST and we are now accepting game entries. This is our annual event to showcase new games and talent. Great prizes. Lots to gain. Easy to submit. No cost to anyone. We received a great response from GDC San Francisco, but we’re still looking for new submissions. Demos are acceptable, and not all levels have to be complete to enter.

There are two categories: General Games and Casual Games with a winner in both. Last year, our First Place prizes were complete Alienware workstations, Runners-Up received iPods.

And new this year we have added a Student Developer Award, which will have a cash scholarship award.

If you are interested in submitting your game, please visit http://www.indiegameshowcase.com/, click on Indie Game Contest... Enter My Game. The website has all of the instructions. Or if you would like more information, please feel free to contact me. We're just starting the submission process, which will continue through June 2008, but the sooner you enter the more votes you can receive. Submit Today.

We are also getting close to releasing the beta version of RGN (Revolution Games Network). You may have heard about it in San Francisco. If you would like information on RGN please let me know and I'll send out an info packet.

Thanks and Good Luck
Suzanne
