Halfbrick Studios have shown off the trailer to their first Xbox Live Arcade title, Raskulls, giving gamers a glimpse of some of the fun to be had in this multiplayer platform / racer hyprid. Raskulls is being touted as a combination of Castle Crashers, Mario Kart, and Bomberman, giving a pretty extraordinary platform experience like no other. Whereas platformer games like Littlebigplanet require players to help each other across each level, gamers in Raskulls will do the opposite and try to hinder other players in any way they can via various pick ups, with the main aim to finish at the end of the level first.
Halfbrick will be providing over ten gameplay types in addition to the normal racing events, including "Ammo Scrooge, where players have limited shots to navigate a complex maze of blocks, and Bomb Diffusion, in which a number of bombs are placed throughout each level, and must be carefully navigated and disarmed."
