If there's anything to learn from the Australian Appstore charts, it's that we're a nation that loves hunting for doodles. A well deserved congratulations must go to Melbourne indie developer, KlickTock, for reaching and holding the top spot in the Apple's free apps section for an entire week with their frantic "Bejeweled Blitz" meets "Where's Wally" hybrid, Doodle Find.

Doodle Find is not a lite edition or limited version of a game - it's the full thing, complete with trophies, achievements, and online leaderboard functionality with Facebook Connect integration, and it's FREE. So, if you haven't had a look at Doodle Find yet, click on the following link and get downloading now!!

So Doodle Find (and Super Search 60) have now been updated to support iPhone 4's retina display! WOOT!
Now we just have to wait and wait till they arrive sometime in July(?).
It's also now a universal app and the HD version runs on iPad also...

Well, based on about 1000 requests I'm going to do a "Doodle Find Pro" and add in an "endless" mode. Hopefully that goes well also.

ad's and banners generate a lot of revenue :)

Ads and banners can generate a lot of money. However advertisements can be location dependent. The US is a big market for mobile ads. UK is also good. Australia is a little behind in this space.

Today I launched Doodle Find Pro with no adverts and an extra game mode for those who wish to contribute to the game financially.

Hopefully that climbs the charts in the same was as the free version.
