Some sad news from New Zealand where the NZGDA website has posted that Simon Castles, from Castle Music Productions, has passed away...
It is with deep sadness that we report that NZ based music and sound engineer Simon Castles has passed away over the weekend after losing a year long battle with cancer.
In addition to being a great friend and talented musician, Simon has contributed to numerous game projects throughout the years, and has been instrumental in helping build the NZ industry to where it is today.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time. He will be sorely missed.
Simon had been a Sumea forum visitor and registered Castle Music Productions on here as a developer service. Among the titles that Castle Music Productions worked on included Rugby League, TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2 - Bush Resuce (GBA), and was in the midst on the audio content for Sidhe Interactive's Rugby League 2 game. Sumea would also like to send our deepest condolences to the relatives and friends of Simon.
Simon was a good friend and gave me a start in this industry.
He is very much missed.
