W.I.P
Update 02
Have finally gotten around to adding some wings, took a bit of time to skin but the result is quiet pleasing. Still have a bit of rejigging of the skinning to do on the angel as well. I'm still pondering the background, lava or black hole with mist? I think I will wrap the chain around the wrist, hmmm.

Update 01
Have reworked the skeletons pose and moved the camera as I felt their positions were unclear. Still playing with it all. Thought about wrapping the chain around his wrist but that wouldn't be passive enough. I want it to be ambigous as to weather he intended his action or was it accidental.

Original Submission
The meeting of an angel and a fallen angel at the pit of hell.

a study in posing ,composition and lighting.

I am building this scene around the poses of the main characters and then am going to move the scene passes into After Effects to add some depth and lighting effects.
A great deal is still to be done but the basic posing is in place.

It was inspired by some 2D art I have been doing recently. There is a certain quiet to the nude male pose which I wanted to incorparate into the image, making the angel passive aggressive.
I am exploring the concept of pure good facing evil and the conflict that creates both externally and internally.

  • Copyright over someone elses work

  • I found it interesting that this users work on the previous Sumea website was a copyright of someone else's work. Splashgirl has blatantly used Marek Denko's 'Naked Female' render and given it a nice Photoshop filter, written her/his name and then copyrighted over the top of Marek's work.

    This should be looked into.
