Heres my first blast, kind of a speed blot. I posted the same pic in the other thread! [:I]

Eyes are a bit high on the head, need to come down a tad. Im going to add a bit more personality into his face, give him some life in the next revision.

Some good colour work in there, are you going to leave some linework there or paint over the top of it?
I would probably elimanite the wrinkle lines at the sides of his mouth area and lift the edges of his lips so he isnt got that frowning look on him. Also, maybe adjust his eyes so he is looking at the viewer, at the moment he looks like he is looking at my chest not my eyes.

Yeah im going to completely remove all the line work etc,and get to some smooth airbrushing. [:)]

Ill probably keep the sour look - but might make the lines from his nose down past the sides of his mouth a little less prominent.

Yeah, never make the cut as one of santa's elves with an expression like that!
Eyes looking at the viewer would be more engaging, or alternatively looking to one side past the viewer.

looking good cept for the previously mentioned eye thing and personally i think his nose is maybe a tad too long (vertically). maybe bring the eye line (along with the top of the nose) down a tad... well thats just a thought, i could be entirely wrong but its something my subconcious picked up.

oh and nice colours :D

hey troy when r u gonna post the newest version of him up? and if ur going to keep the cloack on him i suggest putting some more folds in it as it looks very non-cloth like.
but the face colours are nice. :)

Thanks for the comments guys, Ive cleaned up the linework quite a bit and begane painting the final version but have yet to get some good piece of time set aside to complete it, will upload as soon as its done tho [:D]
