The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night announced

Sierra has announced that a follow up to The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night is on its way to the Wii, PlayStation 2, DS and Game Boy Advance. The console version of Eternal Night will be handled by Krome Studios who were also responsible for the previous console re-imagining of the popular long running franchise. Famed actors Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman will also be making a return, voicing the characters of Spyro and Ignitus. From the press release..

"The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night takes the action and excitement of The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning to the next level with new breath attacks, fury modes, and the introduction of the new 'Dragon Time' ability to deliver an exciting experience that Spyro fans and gamers of all ages will love."
