Jonathan Guthrie
I am a composer and sound designer from Sydney, Australia specializing in writing and recording music for film, television and games. Coming from a classical background I have completed all grades of Piano and Musicianship, and have also previously studied Violin and French Horn.
Since 2009 I have been composing scores by freelance for various projects, as well as writing and recording my own solo pop/rock music releases.
My most recent projects have included animated short film NIGHT LIGHT (2010) by Curtis Carlson of Sony Pictures Imageworks, FIRST DOWN FOOTBALL online game for Shockwave Games, and I have just completed the Graduate Diploma in Screen Music course at the prestigious Australian Film Television & Radio School (Fox Studios, Australia). I was also shortlisted for Top 15 TropScore in 2011, an international film scoring competition run by TropFest.
