Joshua Stewart is a highly experienced ScrumMaster / agile project manager with a strong software development background and proven leadership skills.
Josh started his career with defence contractor Raytheon, spending 3 years working on long and complex military systems projects - following a debilitating waterfall process.
Josh has since worked in an agile environment for 9 years at Immersive Technologies, with 7 of those years performing ScrumMaster duties on projects he is overseeing. Josh has worked on countless projects of various size and complexity, including working with cross functional teams which include software engineers, electronics engineers, mechanical engineers and QA engineers. He has guided teams delivering new and enhanced features as well as entirely new market leading training simulation products.
Josh has much hard fought experience experimenting with the application of agile principles as well as combining practices from Scrum, XP, Kanban / Scrumban to feature teams, release teams, devops teams, support teams and HR teams.
He has experience in a variety of roles including developer, release lead, tester, product owner and functional manager. Josh focuses his time now on helping teams understand business needs, executing with discipline, continuous improvement and delivering valuable product increments, within time and cost constraints.
He is currently leading multiple teams of developers at Immersive Technologies building many new and exciting products for the mining and resources industries.
