Freeplay 2011 looking for speakers and volunteers

Freeplay, the Australian independent games developer conference held in Melbourne, is making a call out for additional volunteers, support, and assistance as they ramp up for what looks to be an even bigger event coming this August. They are specifically after:

Speakers and Sessions
"We’re also very interested in alternative structures for presenting. Obviously we’re keeping lectures and panels and workshops, but we’d also like to incorporate playful sessions or microlectures or anything anyone else might pitch to us."

Volunteers
"Volunteers are needed to help usher and check tickets in the conference centre, staff the information table in Experimedia, hand out feedback forms, direct attendees, and provide additional event support."

Indie Expo
"As with last year, we’re having an expo space in Experimedia and we’d like to showcase even more of the exciting and innovative work happening in Melbourne."

Associate Producers
"Associate Producers will be responsible for working with the festival directors and program advisory committee to help shape and deliver an event during Freeplay, following it from programming to production."

Freeplay Board
"Freeplay is currently looking for two board members to join us. Board members are volunteer positions and provide organisational direction, support, and governance."

Sponsorship
"Freeplay is currently open to sponsorship opportunities and partnerships."

If you're happy and willing to lend a hand and can help out with any of the above, be sure to head on over to the Freeplay website and let the organisers know!...
