Straight out of Kotaku comes this bit of nifty news about the local release for the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player peripheral. Kotaku reports that the add-on is coming to Australia on March 29 for $249 and is being bundled with King Kong, just like it was overseas.
Also reported is that there will be 40 movie titles available at launch, a few of which are bound to tickle your fancy. So if you want a relatively cheap alternative to leap into the "high definition future" that Microsoft has touted all about during the Xbox 360 launch hype, this seems like a fairly nice option if you already have an Xbox 360 console.
