AFL Premiership 2007 Coming Late June

It's certainly been quiet with news of the next AFL Premiership game, but a Sony press release has announced that the latest incarnation of the series is heading our way next month on the 28th of June for the Playstation 2. Not much is known about the new title other than that Sony and IR Gurus have taken careful consideration from the feedback received by fans from the previous game...

One of the most important factors in the development of the game has been feedback from fans. Each year IR Gurus has a forum where footy fans have their say. Supporter feedback accounts for almost 70 per cent of changes made to the game.

This year, there is the ability to edit all aspects of a player's appearance, a comprehensive set of stats including match, season, and career information, plus the difficulty levels have been refined to allow experts and beginners to have fun whatever their ability.

The publisher for AFL Premiership is Sony Computer Entertainment Australia. There's a reason they want to keep it on the PS2 only but I will let you figure it out yourself. It's not too hard to figure out.

Haha yes. If you are the type of person who judges a game soley by the platform it's on, I'm sorry to inform you you are an idiot, please do something about it. There are some great games on last gen consoles and clearly still a market for them.

that was a bit negative. I love so much about the game. the training and development additions are fantastic. changing a players appearance is handy too

    Hello
I'm frustrated. I love the new features and improvements on the game but the game play has me at my wits end.

It's a constant battle to not get caught holding the ball or have some other free kick paid against you. I understand the realism but just find it so hard during a 5 minute half.

The game rankings are often obscure. A team can win by ten goals and have equal possession, yet still not have a player from that team feature in the top 3 players of the match. It's a little annoying.

Can anyone help me with marking? I just can't grasp it.

On easy setting, it is a huge waste of time when you have no chance of intercepting a string of opposition passes, even when you do or do not tag players. Most of the one-on-one contests are awarded to the opposition. It should not be so hard on easy mode to mark and keep up with opposition leads. It is extremely hard to mark contested marks in general. Is it me or does anyone else find this?

Thanks for reading if you did
