Nocturnal Entertainment Australia together with web-hosting specialists TakeThisHost have formed an agreement with US publisher Telegames USA, which sees them as the exclusive importer/distributor of several of Telegames's Game Boy Advance(tm) titles within Australia. None of the titles have ever been released within Australia previously.
The two titles initially covered by the agreement are:
- "Ultimate Brain Games" (UBG): A compliation of classic board games including Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, Mahjong, Dominoes and more. UBG was released in 2003, received a IGN rating of 8.5/10, and scored an award for 'Multi-player game of the year'. UBG is rated 'G', and is available now for $59.95.
- "Ultimate Card Games" (UCG): Described as 'the most comprehensive and feature-rich compilation of classic card games ever available for portable gaming', UCG was released in 2004 and supports 4-player linked play, single-cartridge download play, and much more. The card games include Hearts, Bridge, Canasta, Poker, Solitaire, BlackJack and many more. UCG received a IGN rating of 9.5/10, was 'Runner-up to the game of the year' and won an award for the 2004 'Best multiplayer game'. UCG is rated 'PG', and is available now for $59.95.
Future titles will include the Nocturnal developed, Telegames published, 'Ultimate Arcade Games' which will be released later this year.
