The folks over at IGN have brought us a Hellboy preview for the PSP, as they were lucky enough to get to play through a quick demo level set in the sandy deserts of the Middle East.
The impressions of the PSP version show it to be a promising port, with the handheld version of Hellboy being much different to the version being developed for consoles. It has a brawling style of combat with an emphasis on puzzle solving, and the reviewer seems to hope that the other levels of the game receive more vibrant colour, as the multiple hues of brown seemed to detract the overall graphics of the game.
Hellboy, both console (Xbox 360 and PS3) and handheld versions, are being developed by Australian developer Krome Studios, who have their main office up in Brisbane, Queensland.
