Gridwerx Genesis Wins Best Unsigned Game (Professional) at AGDC!

Company

Gridwerx has won the Best Unsigned Game (Professional) at AGDC 2005. Up against a new PSP puzzler and a multiplayer FPS, Genesis won based on the votes of the delegates down at AGDC. The team would like to thank the fantastic support from the gaming community who gave their support for the project.

A large part of the team made an appearance down in Melbourne to support and promote the work in progress prototype of Genesis, our flagship first person cyberpunk RPG.

?It has been amazing to see such a diverse, passionate and talented bunch of individuals come together to breathe life into this concept,? said Gridwerx Managing Director, Peter Jarrett. ?The team has grown really close in the last 10 months and is committed to getting this cyberpunk RPG game funded, developed and into the hands of the public.?

Gridwerx was also a finalist in the Hynes Lawyers Pitching Competition and met with several publishers during the 3 day conference.

You can now download from our site the 30 second video teaser for Genesis and browse screen shots and our 3D images via the Art Gallery.

Thanks again for the community support and feedback!

The Gridwerx team would like to fully mature the concept into a commercial reality. In the meantime, we will continue to seek ways to help fund us to the next level such as work for hire or quick turnaround casual games to continue to fund the concept. We'd love to hear from potential business partners, publishers and investors to bring this project to fruition.
