Microsoft announce Xbox 360 bundle packs

Just in tiny for Christmas, oddly enough...

As reported in Atomic's weekly news round-up:

First off the rank is the massive entertainment pack, which includes the console (with hard drive), component cable, network cable, media remote, extra controller, Project Gotham 3, Dead or Alive 4 and a silver subscription to Xbox Live. That one?s $769.95.

The second bundle, dubbed the family fun pack, contains the console sans hard drive and with a single, wired controller, and a copy of Kameo: Elements of Power. That one?s $499.95.

You can get the 360 Massive pack including the premium console (with hard drive), component cable, network cable, media remote, extra controller, Project Gotham 3, Dead or Alive 4 and a silver subscription (+ 1 month free gold) to Xbox Live from Target for $689.95. I just bought one from EB where they price matched it (target had none left, but said t hey were getting more on Sunday). But its a lot cheaper then $769.95 so if you can get in within the next few days, head out to Target and at least grab the catalog so you can price match somewhere else.

    Go grab yourself a bargain.

Id be interested if the subscription were for a bit longer - 1 month seems a little lame. MInd you I don't think there are many packages doing any decent subscription deals - doh. Essentially these packs, are the standard Pro packs with couple of last year games. Just still a bit too expensive for me.. soz.
