Focused expo for the industry announced
Australia's first ever eGames & Entertainment Expo will be staged at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from the 17-19 November 2006.
In a first for Australia, the booming electronic games and interactive entertainment industry hits downunder with a console full of showcase products, leading edge technology and the latest and coolest in electronic games and related products direct from the manufacturers, publishers and developers with new releases to both trade and consumers.
Serious gamers and casual users will both be targeted. Visitors can watch and compete against some of the world's hottest gamers in the eSport Zone or play to stay on at the Head to Head Podiums. Test out on the latest titles and hardware at exhibitor stands and in a series of interactive game lounges and demonstration areas throughout the expo. A central stage area provides the chance to learn about the latest products and serious developments in the industry, as well as a glimpse of what can be expected in the near future.
Another highlight is a specific education zone where enthusiasts can speak to educational facilities and games developers and explore an array of available courses that may just lead to a stellar career in the world's most exciting industry.
