GO3 Announces Partnership Initiative and First International Conference Speakers

Just back from a successful trip to Japan, GO3 Director David Kazim has announced two major initiatives that will establish the GO3 Electronic Entertainment Expo and International Conference as the leading event of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

Firstly, GO3 management has developed a collaborative agreement with the management of GSTAR and the Tokyo Game Show, to share ideas and resources to maximize the exposure of each expo throughout the Australasian region.

Announcing the agreement, Mr Kazim stated, ?The management of both TGS and GSTAR has been very supportive of our initiatives to set up a world-class electronics expo in Australia. We are very excited to be working with such experienced industry people as the inaugural GO3 event goes from strength to strength.?

GO3 management is looking forward to attending the upcoming GSTAR expo in Korea, where they have secured a booth to promote their inaugural event and the city of Perth as a fantastic destination for everyone to visit.

Whilst at the Tokyo Game Show, GO3 management signed the first of their overseas speakers, with two of Japan's most successful electronic gaming professionals confirmed to headline the inaugural GO3 International Conference, presented by Nvidia.

Key industry players Goichi Suda, President of Grasshopper Manufacturer and Masaya Matsuura of Nana On?Sha Studios will be presenting during the two day conference from Friday 30 March to Saturday 31 March, 2007.

Goichi Suda's works include Moonlight Syndrome (PlayStation), The Silver Case (PlayStation) and Killer 7 (GameCube and PlayStation 2). Recent interviews have revealed that he and Grasshopper Manufacturer are soon to release work for PlayStation3 and NintendoWii.

Masaya Matsuura is a video game designer and musician based in Toyko, Japan. He has worked extensively with music and images, essentially inventing the modern music or rhythm video game at his studio Nana On-Sha.

They will be joined by Rod Fergusson from Epic Games as the first presenters named for the International Conference, presented by Nvidia. Epic is best known as the makers of the mega-hit Unreal and Unreal Tournament, as well as the Unreal game engine.

GO3 management is excited to have secured Rod Fergusson as he is one of the hottest producers on the planet right now and the key figure behind the soon to be released Gears of War, tipped to be one of the biggest games of the year exclusive to the Xbox 360!

Whilst on the subject, GO3 recently met with key management from Xbox while they were in Perth to confirm their involvement at the event. They join key players such as Internode, Nvidia, Game Traders and Pandemic Studios who have already committed to featuring at the inaugural GO3 Electronic Entertainment Expo and International Conference in 2007.

Stay tuned for more announcements in the near future as the line up of companies and key personnel attending GO3 continue to be locked away.

zOMG!!!11 Suda 51 is awesome! Makes me sad they didn't mention Contact though. And I thought his PS3 game idea was just a design concept and hadn't been picked up yet? Unless I missed something. Oh, if someone goes there, please tell him to get better voice actors for Heroes. kthxbai
