Team Bondi office space up for rent

Company

Rockstar and Team Bondi's Brendan McNamara have been going overdrive in promoting their detective thriller console game, L.A Noire, through various paper and electronic media outlets, and it's to be taken as a good sign that the game which has been long in production is fast nearing completion.

As the usual case in game development cycles, the studio seems to be winding down production as a whole bunch of artists and programmers are not required anymore to finish off their flagship title. A sign that Team Bondi is going through this process is seen through a recent property advertisement promoting an entire level once inhabited by the Team Bondi staff for the last five years...

From the advertisement...

This recently refurbished commercial office floor is located in Ultimo / Pyrmont and is available for the first time in over 5 years. The building has a vast floor plate of over 3,300 square metres which allows any large business or corporation to utilise only 1 floor and have all staff located together.

The building has recently undergone an upgrade to achieve a four (4) star NABERS rating. With great natural light and ample parking avaialble, the building is ideal for any company looking for a CBD style property with a City fringe rental.

Yes, the level which is up for lease is the entire floor of Team Bondi. They're moving out. Whether they're relocating to smaller premises or winding down completely, we just don't know at the moment. We also have to remember that Team Bondi are also behind Depth Analysis, the technology company that is responsible for the MotionScan technology in L.A Noire.

In any case, it looks like the perfect place for another Sydney studio to shack up there, so if you're interested, it's a quality 3,300 square metres of space!

3300 sq m for $26,400? There's no way that's right Souri! Maybe 3300 sq m is the entire building...

As I've been corrected, that's the outgoings, not the rent. And 3300 sq m is indeed the entire Team Bondi office floor.

A whole floor for $26,400!

Jesus you can't even get a 3 x 3m office with a window in Brisbane for that much!
