Well, as you might not have known, I've been doing some work on the site for the past week. Most of it has been fixing and updating how the site does things, but I did get to add some new functionality to make Sumea even more useful.
First off, we have the Sumea Calendar. It's integrated with the news, and it'll let you know what conferences, events, competitions, industry related deadlines, enrolment dates etc are happening. The calendar will also show how many days left for that date. It would be great if we could get educational institutions to send Sumea their enrolment dates and opening days for potential students who visit Sumea to know what their options are and by when they have to make a move.
The next big update is that we now have profiles for independant game developers. That means if you register for a developer account, you can log in and write your profile, link to your website, add news updates, and details about the games you are working on. If you are a local independant game developer, please register! Sumea's all about giving exposure to your works, so we'd love to have you on board. :)
There's also the capability for any local developer to register for an account and add news/job posts on behalf of your company, and update the profile and games details we already have on you. Click the link below!
