This may be of interest to animators, or those like me that were at the right age to fully appreciate Animalia by Graeme base (1986).
ACMI is hosting a free session dedicated to the production of the film Animalia, based on the book, which is now showing as part of the Melbourne International Film Festival and is due for mainstream release in October.
The speakers Ewan Burnett and author Graeme Base will be covering "the array of ingredients that come together to make animated stories".
I had that book as a kid, loved it!
Would be very interested to see those first 3 episodes, have heard along the grapevine that Photon (the animation studio) is having big problems getting them done...
